As the hydropower development strategies of China continue to be implemented, a host large projects have been completed or are being constructed in southwest China. During construction Jinchuan station, this study examined stability surrounding rock during excavation and unloading hydraulic tunnels under demanding geological conditions. Microseismic (MS) monitoring technology was employed monitor deformation failure online real time, based on engineering data site surveys. To analyze spillway tunnel temporal spatial evolution characteristics MS events, source parameter analysis numerical modeling were performed.
